You can either book your bike in for us to source the parts and fit them for you or you can buy them and we can fit them for you. Alternatively, for a little extra, we can show you how, so next time you'll be able to do it yourself! Have a read about how it all works.
If you like searching out a bargain component but don't know how to fit it then our 'You Buy, We Fit' service is the one you're looking for. If you don't know a cassette from a chainring and you want some help, a bit of advice and don't mind waiting a little longer for us to get the parts in, then we can do all that for you.
We offer a free collection and delivery service within 5 miles of Pickering (minimum £25 spend) and if we can fix it there and then you'll have your bike back straight away otherwise we'll agree a date and time then bring it back when it's finished.
We don't just service mountain bikes, we also look after road bikes, shopping bikes, kids bikes and dragged out of the back of the garage bikes. See our pricing section for details of typical jobs and costs.
This might sound a bit like shooting ourselves in the foot? I mean once we show you how to fit the parts, you won't come back? Well the way we see it is that you're more likely to trust our advice and come back again for maybe the bigger jobs that you don't feel confident with or don't have the tools for.
You may even enjoy tinkering so much that you book on one of full day cycle maintenance courses so you can learn a whole lot more!
It costs a little extra as the jobe takes longer if we're training you but it's money well spent as knowing how to do the small stuff can save you £££s in labour and will help prevent parts failing which can end up costing you a lot more!
In this internet age there are online retailers selling cheaper than bike shops can buy from suppliers. As a customer we understand that you want to get the most for your money so buying online is fine with us. We figure if we look after you then we'll build up a good relationship and see you time and time again.
In addition we don't carry lots of expensive stock so we can keep our overheads low and our prices down.
If we're doing it for you we have a standard labour rate of £20ph or if we're training you it's £30ph. We'd recommend booking on one of our full day training courses though so you can learn how to fit or repair the item and loads of other things too for just £99. That's 8h training for the price of 3h!
To give you an idea of charges for us to do the job here are some examples. Prices are indicative and for labour only unless stated. Call us for a chat or for more detailed pricing.
